I’d like to point out that this is one of the most magical looking photo shoots I’ve ever done. Check out the sun streaming down! Awesome. Plus the fresh rain on the grass made it all glittery. I’m pretty proud of myself. I enjoy watching my photographs evolve and grow as this blog grows. I think being able to test out new photographing techniques is one of the perks of being a blogger. In other news, I have no idea what inspired me to buy this dress. Maybe it’s because emerald is Pantone’s color of the year, maybe I just liked the way it looked, or maybe it’s because I realize I don’t own anything green which means this past St. Patrick’s day I got pinched more often than I’d like. Who knows. In the end, I’m glad I got it. While some of you might be able to go without the undershirt, I like that it has a sort of overall effect. Plus the cut of this dress is just really awesome.
This red bag, while maybe making things a little too Christmasy, has been my go to bag for the last couple of days. It fits everything inside nicely and I love that it’s super structured. It’s been sitting in my closet since I thrifted it but I am so glad I picked it up. It’s just the right amount of vintage looking that I can carry it no matter what decade I’m sporting. Did you noticed that I’m wearing my DIY canvas shoes from yesterday? So comfy. Seriously, find yourself some canvas shoes already! I haven’t stopped wearing them since the paint dried.
